Diagonal Tile - Fild

"This time studio FILD decided to experiment with concrete colours, forms and textures, resulting in the creation of wall decorative tiles made of concrete and wood. A square, diagonally divided, was taken for a shape reference. “We wanted to use exactly this shape for tile design simply because it perfectly creates accurate geometrical pattern dynamics, especially with our contrast colour palette combinations. Concrete was chosen due to its textured surface that so-to-say imitates natural structures. We also carefully selected a colour palette for this particular product so that each and every tile unit has its own personal shade of colour.” – Dan Vakhrameyev." - fild
