After working in the London interior design scene, I realised just how minimalistic Melbourne homes tend to be. White walls. Little to no art. Fast fashion furniture as far as the eye can see. I felt there was a real lack of soul and personality in the homes I was visiting, especially when compared with the vibrant, artfully designed homes over in the UK.
