From a young age, Nikki’s had a keen eye and passion for design. Realising it was more than a hobby, Nikki started her design journey when enrolling to complete a Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration at Northern Metropolitan Institute of TAFE in Melbourne in 2006. After excelling in the course and with a strong desire to further hone her skills, Nikki went on to successfully complete and a Bachelor of Design (Interior Design) at the esteemed Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne.
Since completing her degree, Nikki has worked within volume build and multi-residential design, property styling, hospitality and retail design with several leading interior design firms in Melbourne. To coincide with starting her own business in 2010, Nikki also developed a blog to showcase her design inspirations and critiques. After gaining a loyal following, Nikki has continued to use and grow this platform to evaluate designs from all over the world and share any new discoveries.
Moving to London in 2014, Nikki has expanded her knowledge on the world of interior design and has gained considerable experience with regular exposure to British and European designs. When not working on her blog and consulting on private homes and spaces within the affluent suburbs of London, Nikki enjoys travelling with her partner Scott and drawing design inspiration from stunning locations all across Europe.
Returning back to Melbourne, Nikki has gathered her skills learnt in London from working with infamous Designers Guild in the Kings Road, Chelsea.
Nikki has worked both with retail, hospitality, residential and multi-residential design. Projects completed in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
